Bull Question

I have seen bulls get mean in their old age before but it always seemed they would go after folks. Any one ever seen a bull get aggressive with old cows but not people before?

Yep, ain't going to get into the goory details but he is by himself and tires are aired up on the stock trailer. Got to work Monday (sale day) so he will get some fresh air Sunday afternoon.

Thing is he is the same pasture pet with me, just aggressive with cows. I ain't wait'n for mud to get knee deep around hay rings for him to try me, I still have a fight'n chance on hard ground.

Had a neigbor about 10 years ago who had a bull that would kill bull calves when they got about 3 months old, never heard of a bull go'n after cows.

My friend had a jersey bull with horns, we had him dehorned and he was good for awhile, then got nasty again. Will this past May he ended up at Mickey Dees. Iv been around all 3, bulls, stallions, and cocks. At least you can handel a stallion with a lead shank.{chain over the nose, or over the gums} Bulls and roosters are nutty. LOL J

When any of my bulls show aggression in any way toward cows/calves/people they take one way ride. Now it is usual for them to posture/fuss with other bulls. Never had one get aggressive with cows.

I raise rodeo bred cattle for bucking bulls. If they are not mean, they are NO good to me. Having some "fire" in them keeps them bucking & puts the crowds in the stands!

I have always understood that Dairy breed bulls are much more dangerous and unpredictable than traditional Beef breed bulls.
