OT Big weekend

Turned 53 yesterday.Wife took me out to breakfast and down to St. Louis to one of the casinos.Got home and found a 500 Kubota RTV in the driveway.Oh,almost forgot.After 33 years about 2:00 friday put my hard hat in my truck and drove to the office and turned in my keys.Got enough time in to call it quits.Got so much to catch up on around here ,Ill have to go back to get some rest.LOL.

Congratulations!
You will be glad you did. In 2008 I did also with 34 years. Glad I did too! First thing you gotta do is sit on the front porch with yer feet up and a cup of coffee right when everyone else is arriving at work and toast the poor buggers.

Congrats. What would be even better is to graduate college and then retire. Or, have grandkids without having kids. If you figure out how to do those two, you could get rich. Been retired almost 7 years, always busy and life is GOOD!

fill sorry for the wife.. now she gets half the pay and twice the husband...

I retired for about 2 years... added on to the house, rebuilt all the fences, repaired everything i owned.. got bored and went back to work...

now I tell everyone Im working on my 2nd million... I done gave up on trying to get my first million.

Did the same thing about 8 years ago next April. walked in the boses "owner of company" office the last day about 4.15 laid Cell phone, keys & credit cqards on his desk and have neaver looked back. I hope you enjoy your retirment as mouch as I have. Don't sit down stay busy that will keep you young.
ps. I still don't carry a cell phone.

Congrats, to all.
I have been retired some time now. I retired
in 1991.I have enjoyed all of it. I drove many,
many miles behind the wheel. I did not renew my
CDL license after I retired. That means I won t be driving the big rigs any more. But I have enjoyed it all,
and still kicking.
