I've called on several photo adds lately and the guy wants more than the advertised price. There's a jD loader for 500.He asked me 600 for it.Another tractor was advertised for 3000,he now wants 3500.He said it was a misprint.I hate to mess with people like that.A friend of mine bought a tractor and the guy sent his check back a week later, sold it to someone else.

Boy am I glad you posted, wanted to vent but didn"t want to start it. Check photo ad # 405387 for the "perfect" JD plow clevis. If you download the photo so you can open it in photo shop and lighten it, when you see it clearly it has a substancial amout of wear in the usual area. If I bought and paid for it I would be steaming mad when it arrived. Seems like fraud or is it just me ?

In the state of Kansas they could be forced to sell for the advertised price but it would take some legal action to get it done.

I certainly wouldn't deal with the seller now or in the future. I could understand a single misprint or typo, but not for each item.

Geoff , I believe you have your ads mixed up. The clevis in ad # 405387 does indeed have the "usual" wear but the ad does NOT say "perfect" anywhere! On the other hand the ad right below it #405382 is the one advertising as being "perfect" and in fact IS! If you are so inclined (you are obviously interested) put up the money and you will get a money back guarantee that you will find NO wear , nicks , repairs and would have to agree that this clevis has never pulled anything. Im not saying there are no "crooks" on photo ads but you are way off base on your post. Find another example please.

B man.......sorry, Ad 405387 says excellent (not perfect) condition I don't think hiding the wear in a shadow for the pic is very upfront. On the other hand I completely agree Ad 405382 is indeed perfect condition. Geoff

Thanks for your reply , Geoff , most would not have re-visited a post so far back to re-cant. No harm , no foul. Randy.
