GM 6 bolt wheels

I read the post about F-250 changing their bolt pattern. Did GM ever do this on the 1/2 ton 6 bolt pattern??? Thanks, Jim

Theres about 10 different centre hole sizes on six bolts of different brands. They won't all fit over all hubs.

Older 1/2 T chevs had 5 hole wheels at least my 81 did. Same wheel that fit my 74 Impala. That wheel also fits my 94 1/2 T I have now. The older wheel had been made for hub caps but the wheel fit the same as regular ones.

Guys, 69 Buick Riviera wheels would cross over to a 73 and up Chevy/GMC half ton pickup.

1970 half ton 2wd trucks had 6 bolt, 1971 changed to 5 bolt.

The GM 6x5.5 pattern has been the same for many many years but as said the hub size has changed over the years.

You are right. I had a 68 1/2 T 2 wheel with 6 hole wheels.
