Found a rake for a real good price about 5 miles from the house (been searching all over the internet). Had to dig it out of a half fallen barn but it seems to be in good shape. I take my tractor over and try it /bring it home next week.

I had one of those for awhile- worked fine. To rake, leave the side curtain down. To ted, lift it off, and the rake throws your hay to the side. And right into the fence, if you get too close to the edge.

Tell him larry. He won't listen to me (or my ravings) any more.Maybe he thinks in Christmas colors. Only works for the holidays.lol. Any way, Glad he found another piece of equiptment he can use. Now it comes down to out of the weather storage huh? Where's he gonna store it?

I'll keep my little tractor and just get a bigger one when the opportunity comes along. As fordry storage, the tractor and baler gets parked under roof and everything else gets a good service and a tarp.

(quoted from post at 16:39:52 11/19/10) What does the "crank" on top adjust?

Don't know. The guy is gonna explain it to me when I pick it up. Then I'll get a manual for it. BTW, have Nancy check her email, you have an owners manual for your tedder.

The crank controls the rake height. If you look close you can see the scissors linkage just above the axle.
