I need a pair of Redwing 3508s and don't wanna drive 60 miles to the nearest shoe store.

Anybody know of a good online shoe outlet?

It's easier to just order 'em in and let UPS handle the 120 mile round trip. :>)

I've used Mason Shoes for nearly 50 years now. I used to buy them from a guy who sold them as a side business, then I began ordering them via mail order, and for the last few years I've ordered them via the internet. They have a wide-range of brands and although I've never bought Red Wings, I'm pretty sure they carry them.

I tried that route a couple of years ago, and found out the company frowns upon on-line sales and any transaction had to be over the phone with one of their official dealers.

Don't know if that's still official policy but it was back a few years.
 

Shoeline.com I just recently got a pair of Double H boots from them. Thought I had it bookmarked, but can't find it now.

Shoeline does free exchanges if the boots don't fit, and they even include a UPS return label in the box.
 
I cannot help with the RedWings, but 5 years ago I found a manufaturer called Belleville Shoe that makes some of the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. They are a US Govt contractor but sell to the general public too. They are made in America. They are kinda expensive but I think they are worth every penny.

Try this place. I ordered a pair of Redwings from them about a year ago. Great customer service. At the time, you could not order online, you had to call and speak to a real person, no automated phone crap, either.

My niece works in a shoe store. She asked me what kind & size shoes I wear. I asked if she sold Red Wings & she said no. I said, then you are not selling shoes.

That is exactly why I chose the Double H brand. 100% made in the U.S.A. Not just some of them, but ALL of them.

I have to special-order all my Red Wings, because the local stores don't stock narrow widths. I always have them drop-shipped to my house. Just call a nearby store and give them your order over the phone. Most stores will give you a price break on special orders because they don't have to stock.
