Site Shut Down

Where is Old? I just realized I haven't seen any posts from him. I looked back and the most recent is Sunday. Does that mean the site shuts down?

I imagine the Old is hunting deer or fighting of possoms. Or was that coons that gave him fits, I don't recall

You couldnt run our good friend Rich away with "A Bucket of $hit and a Mop" lol Im sure hes hunting and red necking and will be back soon. Hes a "Good Ol Boy" fer sure

Haven't missed a day yet just not posting much in tractor talk. Been doing a good bit of deer hunting not getting any but try to be out there as much as I can. No opossums. So yep here just not on much right now. I try to get 4 or so deer if I can. I know a family that needs help so I try to give them at least one deer every year plus I pretty much need at least 2 nice size ones for my self

Glad you are well. My dad used to get two deer most years back before they had separate seasons for every weapon and ethnic group. He could never be happy with the first one so he didn't tag it.

18 deer in my alfalfa this evening. Furthest away was 265 yds, closest 88, that's with the rangefinder from the family room window. And me with two tags in the next county west!
But biggest buck here out of 11 different ones on my trail cams would score less than 140. Three on the west property will score over 175.

Here in Missouri we have Bow season then any deer season then antler-less/bow the muzzle loader/bow then bow again. Today was the last day of any deer and tomorrow doe season as most call it starts. Sure wish I had a way to carrier both my bow and gun that way if a big buck walked up I could shoot it with the bow but if a doe walked up I could use the gun. Oh well so far all I have got was a small doe so need to get a few more before season ends on Jan 15th (bow)

Two terms you use there I do not agree with. I'm not and never will be a red neck and I'm not a good old boy. Both terms in my area are those used for guys who are stupid but still have $$ because they where born with it and have there hands in the pockets of the court and law systems. Now if you called me a Hippie or a gentleman or a nice guy I would agree. Yep I was and still pretty much agree with some of the Hippie ways and I recycle just about every thing I can and do my best to farm/garden as organic as I can
