Farmall 450 coolant leak

What would you guys do next? ...got a '57 Farmall 450 C-281 (gas) with a anti-freeze in the oil.... removed the valve cover, oil pan, plugs, manifold and then pressurized the cooling system. ....found green stuff dripping down the inside of #2 dry sleeve. After depressurizing, is my next step removing the head and visually checking the head gasket, head, and block for obvious leaks? I guess what I'm asking, is there any other ways to identify where the leak is before taking things apart any further? Cracked head? cracked block? bad head gasket? I'm hoping it's the head gasket for obvious reasons. Thanks...Will

Did you pressurize the cooling system or cylinder. I do it in the cyl and that will tell you if head gasket or head. If leak is behind sleeve in block pressure in cyl will not leak into pan. Another thing you might keep a close eye on is the block just up and behind center main as they do crack there and it may appear to be coming out of number two or three cyl.

Thanks Pete. I only pressurized the cooling system, not the cylinder. I'll have to make up a fitting to screw into the plug hole and then pressurize the cylinder.
For what it's worth I did notice that #2 exhaust valve is very rust colored where all the other valves are black.
