fuel pump kit for Wisc.tjd

Gary. I found a place that handles most carb rebuilding kits. Had one made up for our O.C 46 /w herculese engine. Kit fit when it came . Installed it and it worked about 10 min then the engine quit. Talking to carb men, I found out that it's the ethynol that eats away the diaphragm. Were running the engine using elect 2.5 gpm pump. Havn't tore the fuel pump apart as yet. Been to cold in the shop. I'm curious as to the damage the fuel did to the diaphram, Hope you have better success then we did. LOU.

NAPA auto parts sells a new fuel pump as part
number: M73012. It"s under $50.
Also,farm supply stores,(Blains Farm-Fleet, in
Wisconsin) can order it for you. It"s in the
catalog under the same part number as NAPA.
The box"s from both places said "Federal-Mogul"
For me NAPA price was better.
All that they need is 2 poppet valves, and a
diaphram, but the mfr has decided to only sell
new pumps, not parts.I"ve got 7 that need kits,
if anybody can find a source!

Go to www(dot)then-now(dot)com or call 1-781-335-1579 M-F 10AM-7PM Eastern time. They have fuel pump kits for the little pump that is used on the twin Wisconsins, Single and twin Kohlers and other small engines. I ordered four this summer. Two when on two TFD's on a New Holland 166 Self-propelled baler.
