Hellow I just bought my first tractor a 1949 ALLIS B and I am looking for a distributer cap its a magneto syle WICO, need help locating one.

Thanks for any help!

You dont put a dist cap on a mag they are two different caps you either have a mag or a dist and they both can be found at any auto parts store need to know which model the device is.There will be some info on the body .

Respectfully, I think that it can be correct to say 'I need a distributor cap for a magneto'. On my Farmall H the magneto has both a distributor cap and and a coil cap, as I think they are called, and it is helpful to have some way to distinguish between them.

SORRY about that, that was my 11 yr. old son he"s pretty excited over his tractor. This old B has already been converted over to 12 volt. The distributer is a wico XH magneto style they have disconected the magneto, and run points and a coil, runs good just a crack in the cap that I permatexed to get him going.NAPA gave me a number to try haven"t had time.Any help would be great. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

YT probably has them right here under "parts",
"Electrical parts", you have to have the mag.
part number..there should be a tag on the magneto
giving model and serial number.
