I read the feedback you folks gave me and went back and put a max price on my want ad.... That max was 5500 euro...Got two offers and guess how much the tractor was...... Decent looking deutz 5505 with loader for 5500 euro (that person had emailed me before and asked what I wanted to spend) and a not so goodlooking IHC for 5500 negotiable.

Went to another forum just for sh!ts and giggles with a different username and email address and put about the same ad and a max of 3000 euro. Had the same person offer me the same deutz 5505 for 3000.

Think I'll just stick to my original search and wait on an honest joe to show up. Guess I don't NEED another tractor anyway.

Done now.

Folks tend to do that in my experience. It's too bad, but there you
go. Maybe you should try another name and suggest 1,500 and
see how low he'll go.

No, I think I'll just quit looking. Spent most of the day today on my baby and can't really bring myself to replace her.

Just placed the other ad because I wanted to rove a hunch.

Guess I'd go for the Deutz at 3,000, if its good. Have heard mostly good about Deutz.

I wouldn't blame the seller for trying to get what the traffic will bear. If I wanted 3000 for something, but somebody said he'd pay as much as 5,500, I'd sure start there.

Exactly why I didn't put a price in to begin with..... Very nice Deutz though. Gonna go thru this summer (hay) and see if I need anything else.

Dave,Too bad you live that far off, thissa one would've been perfect for ye

I found a 93 belarus 925 (93 hp) with only 750 hrs on it the other day
Guy wanted $4000 for it.

I could not let it get away,i bought it.

A friend of mine bought one of those and spends
about that much a year in repairs. The hydraulics are a nightmare, and it leaks everywhere. His had around 1500 hours. He really didn't want it either, but at 2000 he thought he couldn't go wrong.

saw a video with one of the older ones like I posted a picture of. Either a really big (tall) tractor or a really short guy fooling with it.
Wife liked the pics you sent.

Dave.Your falling under the delusion that the world is great. NO CROOKS. much like Diogenes with a lantern looking for an honest person . Don't trust ,UNLESS YOU KNOW ABOUT EM and then proceed with CAUTION.Your smart in posting your offers using different names. GOOD FOR YOU. KEEP LOOKING PARD. I'm pulling for ya. LOU.

I ain't scared of them,i have a model 800 which is similair to the 925 but for the turbo and the front assist on the latter.
I've had good luck with it.They are good tractors.
Easy to fix, cheap to buy and cheap on fuel.

here a pic of it.
took it of a image of it on the puter.
I could get the full shot though.
