Ebay find......

Needed a wagon last year and happened on an OK one a few miles away in ebay. Got it and it was rougher than the pics looked but got my hay in and hauled some junk away. Wasgoing to scab it together this spring and tidy it up a little. Was playing on ebay today and found a wagon 3 miles away that is completely solid, Handbrakes and lights work and the surge (?) brakes work, good tires also. Faded some because it is a 1958 model but has been stored inside it's entire life. Figured it'd get expensive and was gonna skip it. Had to come to work and told the wife to bid no more than 501 euro on it. She just called and said she got it for 404 and I can pick it up tomorrow if I want. This just takes a good pressure washer, a little wire brushing, and some paint and wood sealer of some kind.

Dave. That sure is a great looking wagon. Looks like it can be unloaded from the side. Is it hinged on the sides? Little elbow grease, some paint and wood sealer (like you said)will make it look good for next years parade when the wife drives the tractor -pulling the good looking wagon.Glad yhou got it. LOU

That looks about as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Hard to tell from the pics, but looks like all four sides are hinged and/or removable. Good find. What does 404 Euro equate to in US$?

550 bucks......... The sides and rear drop. It's a little smaller than average but just right for my tractor (one more reason not to replace the tractor  ).

Gotta love ebay and folks that put stuff in the wrong category..Got this one for 12 euro a couple years ago. 100 mile RT to pick it up, but it was a pretty trip.

(quoted from post at 14:25:49 01/31/11) Are you going to pull this with a couple of your
buddies? It looks about the right size.

There are a whole bunch of these things around with a seat and reign bar/rings on the front, just a matter of a couple pins and swaping the tongue.

(quoted from post at 05:37:10 02/01/11) Thats over $500 US Dollars? Man for that here you could get a real wagon.

Honestly thought it was bigger but this one fits my tractor better. Funny thing, while I was googling up some info on this type, I found an old ad where this guy was trying to sell it for quite a bit less a few months ago.
Gotta love ebay.
