Hey NOW!!!!! GORDO. THAT'S WHAT I CALL A GUITAR MASTER. LOTS OF YEARS INVESTED IN LEARNING HIS CRAFT BEFORE PUTTING 1/2 thrown efforts on video. He sure has mastery of the instrument.Would love to hear more. Wonder if You tube has his works? Surely gonna find out. I THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY OLD HEART for putting on a REAL GUITAR PLAYER WHO KNOWS MORE THEN 3 CHORDS. WARMESR REGARDS LOU.

Old (pal)Roy.Hey No Need to crawl back up on the porch. The man started playing when dirt was made. (from the sound of his music)I can bet the wad he practiced till wee hrs in the morning. Loved the instrument and wanted to master the art of playing. Sounds like to me he did just that. Now you know I'm prone to jazz music, and really admire artist who know their craft and suffered the anguish of rejection from those who never picked up ANY INSTRUMENT to begin with but seem to be an expert in the field. I also greatly dislike those who play a LITTLE ,that think they are the tops in their field and CAN"T wait to perform their meager offerings as greatness, at a drop of the hat. I'm going to give you an experience with a great Jazz guitar player who is gone now. Barney Kessel .Listen to the chord structure of "Autumn Leaves" as his fingers find JUST THE RIGHT FEELING FOR THE TUNE. Enjoy . Now if it comes down to it, I as a jazz piano player would be right beside you ON THE PORCH when it came to being that good.(NOT A JOKE).REgards LOU.

We'd all like to hear a little more of your music, Lou.

I for one really enjoy watching you run those arpeggios.

Allan

ALAN. The instrument is getting way ahead of my efforts to display any more, with out hrs of practice. If you notice on the video ,I'm now severely limited if doing arpeggios in a continuous motion let alone contrary motion. To be able to perform any mechanical movement with out several mistakes and or blunders,(which I consider to be 1/2 way measures)is dam near impossible for me. I love music so, so much I won't display my efforts as long as I can't perform with certainty. Doing back ground isn't quite as critical on this site , but certainly is in presenting it on stage, records. etc.Having fun is O.K but i require more of me then to put forth 1/2 way ability. Thanks for your interest though. Regards LOU.

My efforts on video here have probably been painstaking for you. Sorry about that. I'll refrain from posting 1/2 tunes with only 3 chords.

I believe it was Ernest Tubb who said "All you need are three chords and the truth."

I'd rather listen to old ET anytime than those two.
