OT Project Update, gates are getting close to done.

Pictures of the progress made this weekend, all that is left is Cattails on the right side, and gotta create a way to padlock them closed.

Going to get a price quote from a local Powdercoat shop later this week.

Nice looking gate!

Suggestion for the lock. take a length of pipe and weld it vertically on one side, and take a rod ( and a piece of pipe cemented in at ground level) to accept the rod that fits inside it with a piece of flat stock welded to form an "L" shape and a piece of angle iron on the other gate with holes drilled for the lock.

Great looking gate. Lots of effort went into that project. My question to you is "HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR SHOP SO CLEAN"?????. LOU.

Lloyd just a thought on locking your gate. Weld a short length of chain on the back side of each gate and when you close them padlock the two chains together, and when you open the gate the chain can be used to hold the gate from closing.
