I have a set of WMW pistons from an H john deere. Can"t find rings for them. Also Can"t find any documentation on this line. I do know the pistons are p843 on the inside, and i know the .020 based on micrometer.

Are the pistons marked WMW? I have never heard of that brand , however M&W was a popular aftermarket supplier of increased HP piston and sleeve kits in years past. You may want to put this info up on the pullung forum or on JD's forum. A reputable engine rebuilding shop should be able to order you rings by groove width and diameter if you let them measure one up. mEl

WMW Is the White Machine Works, which later became Clevite.Call Jerry at Hinrich Piston & Repair at 815-778-1900 he will be able to get the correct rings. Earl

jdgaugeman, 3.563 Std .045 should measure 3.608 less skirt clearance 90 deg. to the pin. The ring land area is .020-.025 smaller than the skirt My WMW book Eau Claire Wi. only shows Std. .045,.090. & .125 available In the RKP 843 Kit.The R843 was just the piston & pin number.
