OT Going to the Horse-pit-al

After 22 hours of labor (I thought the way she was having contractions would have been sooner)have a 7lb 01oz/21" girl. My 3rd girl out of 7 grandkids. Love them to death!!!!!!!!!!

I thought that I loved my kids as much as was possible, but, I am closer to my grandkids than I was to my own.Between my wife and I, we have 20 grandkids and 7 great grand kids!!! You will enjoy yours more than you realize. Congratulations.( I am only 39).I hope you believe that.

Richard, I know what you mean about being close to your own kids but are closer to the grandkids. I was thinking about that very same thing. Came to the conclusion that when we had our own kids, we were working on a career trying to make a living. In my case, I was "Being All I Could Be" in the Army. Gone alot. 22 years in the Army, home for only 11 years. Trying to make up for the lost time with the grandkids now.
