pto adapter

looking for a pto shaft adapter that has the spring loaded pin that locks it to the tractor pto..... 1 3/8 to 1 3/8....

Hmm.

I don't see how that thing in the picture could possibly be an overrunning clutch. The female splines don't look like they'd fit onto a 640 RPM PTO shaft. And what turns on the clutch when the implement is running faster than the PTO? Is that picture accurate?

As Rusty F said 1 3/8 21 spline-1000rpm to 1 3/8 6spline-540rpm. What ever you are doing be careful of changing the geometry and breaking the shaft or pto. I didn't see any mention of needing an overrunning clutch. So what are you trying to do?

This site has what you're looking for but kind of expensive. Mine was about half that but they seem hard to find.

have a backhoe on the 3 point and need a coupler to run the pump, since kubota doesn't have a hole through the pto shaft to hold the pump from working its way off the pto shaft i need the spring loaded pin, don't need overrun clutch

I believe that pump was meant to be chained in place so it does try to spin on the shaft.

When you chain to avoid spinning, the chain also keeps it from backing off the shaft.

You may not need ano overrun clutch but it should not matter in your application if you did use one.

That's what I figured, but with little info to start with and then trying to figure what he was trying to do or was missing.
