Way OT: Latest Decision, here I go again...

Have alot of mechanical related input and questions.
But here I go again...
Spent an hour and a half talkin to the neurosergeon today.
I've been 99.9% against another surgery.
In so much pain these days, I told him to go for it.
Odds of me feeling a WHOLE lot less pain are about equal to me windin up in a nursin home or dead, then the whole range in between.
I'm ready, the pain is that bad now.
Logically, this should work, but there could already be irreversible nerve damage. Only time will tell. Could be all for naught.
I've got to do somethin', this is my best option, I believe.
Just needed to talk with folks.
Now I'll do a whole lot of talkin to God and Jesus between now and the time the red tape clears. This surgery is a scary one, and yes, I'm bein vague.

Come around to the positive, it will work out.

don't know a thing after they put you out,the joy is later when the nurse says "can you hear me".
 
When you go in for surgery let us know , As you say you will be talking to God , Invite him into the operating room. We will be talking to Him too for you.

I understand your situation. I have had 6 spinal surgeries, 3 on my neck & 3 on my lower back.

Presently I need to have a fusion done on my lower back, the pain is to the level that I can"t stand it.
I also will need to have another fusion done on my neck at some point down the road, when that is done it will make my neck completely stiff. I am down to 30% range of motion now.

Keep talking to God, he will do for us that we can"t do for ourselves. I regularly pray for my surgeon too...

If I can help in any way, just give me a holler.

Good luck with the coming surgery! Having had my left foot removed from war-time injury, and months of operations to fix it right, it was all worth it, even considering the pain!
Prayers for you, and i hope it works out ok, this time. Heck, ya won't be worth a dang, if ya don't get it done!

My ISP was down for a couple days.
Couldn't get online.

Thank you all for your positive replies.
It really helps.
Due to the stress of all this,
on top of it all my wife has separated from me.
We both hope to reconcile, but need a break for awhile.

I'm concerned about the surgery,
but trying to stay positive.
I just hope it gets approved quickly,
so I can get it over with :lol:

Wanted to ad, keeps life interesting, I guess.
Spose if everything went smooth and easy in life, it would get pretty boring. Just a guess... :lol:
 
last thing I'd concern myself with is reconsiling with someone that'd turn their back on me in a pinch. Get fixed and get you a good dog instead.
