Well I asked for advice and took it. Went to Min and picked up the item we ordered from Northern tool. Brought it back, and installed it today on the O.C.46.I'm sure it was designed for a Bobcat-tractor.small dozer.maybe. All this was done by my son, (not me) and he dug up some old stumps from fruit trees that needed to come out. Dug a ditch (practiced with that ditch digging.) works really great. will come in mighty handy when the footings are dug and electric line put down for the new building. Need drain line for dishwasher, drain line in front of the garage. The price was well with in the budget and certainly will severely limit any hand shoveling.Made in the U.S.A. to boot. Made in Minn. Good product as far as were concerned. Regards LOU & VICTOR.

hey Lou ,just watched your video, Ill bet that would move a smmll tree if you wanted to transplant it, Nice loader! It looks and runs good! Hope you are feeling better, best of wishes to you and yours.... Larry

Lou,

looks pretty handy (especially on a nice crawler like that), just like an oversized spade shovel...how deep can it dig before the bucket hits the ground?

-Jameson

Jamo. Thanks for the reply. The bucket will dig 2 feet down and shovel wide for ditching. Lifts stumps (med size) with no problem. Were no disappointed in the least. For what we need to do, it's the answer. Regards Lou.

Just be careful and go slow. There is a lot of force on the cutting edge of your loader bucket.
Buddy works at a local dealer, and has had two people come back with tore up buckets from the loader forks.

It sure beats a shovel. Looks like your soil has a fair amount of sand in it.

Rick

Rick. Soil is darn near pure gravel/sand. When I was a wee lad, I had it with shovels. Still detest em. I do know they are a necessary piece of equipment and we have a couple laying about the home stead. AS for my part, they can just keep ;laying around lol.Yep lots of pressure on the bucket edge. Although we welded a new edge on the bucket, that doesn't mean that it can't be damaged. thanks for the reply. Regards, LOU & Victor.
