O.T.--Any old coke machine experts?

Hey guys--working on our tractor shed still--hoping to get the roof on in the next two weeks and then we can start with the siding and interior stuff. Looking to get an old coke machine to add to the atmosphere---not one of those 40s-50s $5k rigs but maybe one from the 60s or 70s. One that keep drinks cold but also is old enough to look good. I'm going this afternoon to look at a Cavalier coke machine model CS96E--it's a square type with the vertical rack on the left side. Works good, ice cold and takes 50 cents. It's not in mint condition but it looks fairly clean....Any idea what this one is worth?

i sold mine for $200. about 15 years ago...it was a can dispenser but from aprox same time frame...box would get cold enuff to freeze cans if you didnt turn thermostat up in cooler weather.

Just breezing through ebay and searching "soda machine" looks like $500 for a low and all the way up over a $1000 for the newer ones. That's not counting a genuine coca-cola brand machine though, although they have a few on there.

In searching though I did learn what a 8-HEAD CORNEILUS SODA MACHINE was. Used one at lunch today and never knew it had a name.

old sayin- two fools meet, one offers and one takes....it just depends on shape, if you like it enough to pay/offer for it. checking on c-list, denver, seen them from 250>1500. after few days price drops, they realize that not worth what everyone tells them. "back to old saying" as stated- check c-list/ e-bay. have answers before asking questions.

A friend gave me a Pepsi machine about 10 years ago. It was a bottle machine from the 60's that had been converted to cans, and the coin mechanism removed. All I had to do was plug it in and it still works great!

I bought one at a farm sale 25+ years ago for $35. Even had some money in it. Offered to give it to a local organization to put in their community hall and they wouldn't take it. Thought maybe it would have some value by now, but by the looks of these responses on here I guess not.
