The only way to do that correctly is to take it for a test drive when you are done!!!!!!!!!!!!Gerald

Yep.

I once worked with a fellow who had worked in a shop that serviced State Patrol cruisers. If a Trooper complained about a vibration at 120, or whatever, he had to go check it out.

Oh yea !!! Back when our county sheriffs used to have fords with VV carbs they bring them all in to be rebuilt and get lil more ummph out of them . Of course I had to road test them !lol

Weather blows this week ,,car stays inside till done and he'll pick it up on nice day or trailer it home,,I am itching for a road test though !! lol

As long as that is okay with the customer.

A body shop employee just happened to use my Grand Am while it was in being painted and I just happened to observe the mileage addition of over 100+ miles when picking it up-----

Bye bye employee said the shop. Bye bye body shop, will never use your services again., said I to the shop.

That is a 31 body not a 32 , 32 didn't have viser. I had one just like it butb mine was choped 4" and channeled to the bottom of frame. also had a 56 buick 364 ci with a 4-71 blower and two 4-br hollys on top. put out about 425 HP in 1960 wasn't too bad a street machine back then.

Has Deuce grill and frame, too. They call these a "highboy", when body is kept on top of the frame instead of channeled down over it.

I have an all-steel '28 coupe that would make a great rod. Every once in awhile I think about doing it, but then I lie down until it passes. Will probably just sell it "one of these days."

He was just mad because I wouldn't accept the paint job as it was originally done. Would anyone but an idiot accept a job with all sorts of runs in it? Oh well, it cost him his job and at least he didn't wreck my car while out driving it. He is probably one of those out stealing copper now instead of actually working at and doing a decent job of anything. Hopefully instead though he learned a valuable lesson and has become a productive citizen.

You're in eastern Iowa aren't you? Hmmm, wonder if I could arrange a trip to my sister's in Bettendorf and then swing over your way for a ride. LOL Jim

Kid was road testing a Mercades when he met up with buddie's snow plow mount.... Not pretty. Better have customer road test.

YES, glennster just called - Road Trip!

We will be there at 1:00 AM tommerry for test drive. Kinda hope you leave the keys.

Yup,model A body.Note gas cap on cowl.I;m building a 1933 IH pickup right now.Was a 11/2 ton.Doing my own frame with 2x4 tubing and a Ford front end with split bones.Running a straight 8 Buick and a t-10 four speed. Hoss

Could pass for the brother of mine. Very nice 30-31 Model A highboy. Looks like he kept the stock A frame rails too. I was even thinking of adding flames similar to that.

I use to run 3 carbs on mine, and could never get them right, only time they ran good was at wide open throttle, no mid, and way to rich at idle. Looks like he is using the same progressive linkage on the carbs.

Nice ride, makes me ready for summer.
