Hey,
Just wondering what the horse market in that area is like. Looking to replace our QH Stallion and found a couple prospects in that area. Prices are high because they are advertising worldwide, but just wondering what a descent bred QH yearling Stallion market is. Asking price on the best match to our wants/needs is 4500 bucks, but I have an idea that the real market is half or less.

Any input would be appreciated.

Horses of any breed including QH's are cheap. High bred cutting horses included. Just look at DFW Craigslist. If the horse isn't broke and can perform it's cheap. Asking a high price and getting it are way different.

Dave- Do you get the Chronicle ( giant QH/ Paint/App magazine about the size of old style yellow pages)? Can you get it over there? Lots of good yearlings in there....
Any particular bloodline ( we've got mostly foundation Pine Bar QHs)? Western Pleasure, reining, huntseat? You can get some great yearling and 2 year olds for $2500-$3000 if you shop.

Dave, not that it's any of my business and this has nothing to do with your question, but wouldn't the cost of getting a horse from Texas or Oklahoma to Germany cost allot more than the horse?

Just wondering.

By the way, I looked at your website. You got some beautiful horses!

It's pricey, but sometimes you can find a better horse breeding and attitude wise and send it over here for what a decent one would cost here.

The decent shippers that we found mostly ship out of TX. Think there are a couple stations on the east coast area but shipping and fees were more costly. Wife has her perfect match in mind, just finding it now. Trouble is, most stuff on the web is way overpriced by folks that'll fish a little then just peddle it at auction for what it was really worth. Hard to pick out an honest one. We bought 4 in Missouri from different folks and they have been the best money we spent.
