OT: Only in Texas!

Now that is pretty interesting. Looks to be a Mesquite tree, so it's not really all that surprising. Dry weather with wind blowing causes dust and dirt to land everywhere. Figure a spoon full or two of dirt landed on that limb, and about that time some Mockingbird (the state bird of Texas) that was recently eating a cactus pear that was growing on the ground (where it belongs) and he takes a birdpoop that just happens to land in the spoon full of dirt. Then nature brings a bit of rain and whallahhhhhh.....cactus in a tree!
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

At first I thought it was Kermit the Frog, maybe with some water wings he brought along just for good measure! Probably got sick of the "frog stranglers" up north and headed south. Didn't stop until he got to where it's good and dry! Then for extra security he got up in a tree!
