Sounds like ya did alright. I bought my 1940 "A" for only $75.00 and was missing some stuff. Some one had started useing it as a parts tractor. It had compresion and spark, so I drug it home. I put gas in it and it was off and running in 3 cranks. I bolted a radiator on it, filled it up and took it for a short cruise. When I got back, I decided to check the oil, guess where all the water went?, Yup, in the oil pan. I pulled the head off and found LOTS of ugly nasty cracks and breaks in the block. I got lucky and found what was left of another "A" for the block and other goodies. All Ive got done so far is a rebuilt engine, radiator core, steering box, and a nice coat of fresh red paint. My $75.00 dollor tractor is now at $1800.00 bucks,,,, and counting. Lots luck on your new find. Steve T
