I am going to be painting my W-9 when the weather warms up and need some advice on how much paint to buy. The tractor is completely disassembled and I will be painting all parts individually. I have primered all castings with red oxide Dupont non-sanding primer (My father is doing the paint for me due to his experience on antique cars and he loved this primer). All sheet metal will also be primered with a quality red oxide primer. I plan on using Dupont Centari IH red for paint and am wondering how much to buy. It’s expensive and I don’t want alot left over, yet I want enough to do the whole tractor so that all components match. As usual, all of your advice is appreciated. Thanks, Kirk
