I had one made in the USA by some now defunct company. It was a POS. The feed mechanism was prone to strip the gears. The design that I had would produce a big clunker and create total chaos. The one that I had would not burn at a slow rate without clogging. There was also the fire potential by getting the fire back up the feeder tube to the fuel storage area. The stove is now in my junk pile as I felt uncomfortable selling it to anyone. The best thing that I have encountered to heat with is a geothermal heat pump. I do not know how well the geothermal HP would perform in cold country. Good luck
