I say stay with your job. I have been self employed as farm equip.repair since 1973 and getting older and buisness is getting tougher. Not much need for us independents anymore due to the leaseing. As far as restoreing,a lot of fun but you get what the guy cannt fix himself and then wont pay you for it. I got 2 old junkers sitting in my shop now taking up space,cannt find the right priced parts.
