Hi Paul,My boy is also 9.My dad is 64 this year, and is getting excited(wanting me to hurry up)so that when I get done with my 51 H,I can start on his 54 Super H,he bought that 54 SH over 30 yrs. ago,and has never had a problem with it!(he told me he had a WD45 Allis hand start before that,it kicked back on him one time, and hurt him pretty good,so he got rid of pronto)Dad always had me out in the barn "helping" when I was little, and he never missed a one of my ball games either(important to spend time with kids),so I'm glad to see the little guy gettin in on the fun.By the way,dad also took me to sprint, and stock car races pretty much sense I was born, and now, even with being married, and living 14 miles away, almost every Fri. or Sat. in the summer,I spend with my dad at the races(I even take my son,but he always falls asleep halfway into the night)and I have no hearing loss whatsoever, and race cars are SURE louder than tractors!!!! God I love that sound.
