A friend of mine is looking to build a modified farm stock tractor. He is working on a deal for either a 6030 Deere or a 1486/1066 IH. I haven't been able to determine exactly what kind of "modifications" he is going to make or what class of tractor that he wants. He is reluctant to ask the locals because he just wants to "show up" either late season this year or next summer. I think he would like to get a pull or two in this year so he can make the neccessary changes to his rig. Money is not a option for him (something I know nothing about) so the sky is the limit. What are some of the big name vendors for such things as pumps, head work, turbo stuff, water injection, crankshafts, piston work, and camshafts. Post or email Thanks, Burns
