I used to pull a 6 ft. Brillion with my Super H. It was a LOAD if the grass/weeds/whatever were tall. We used the rotary to mow hay for a few years. 3rd gear, about 5 mph was as fast as I wanted to pull it in good alfalfa. I could chop corn stalks in 4th, about 6-1/2 mph. Your H should be able to pull the 6 ft. in the same gear, just slower. The 5 ft. jd wouldn't be able to mow out your wheel tracks, but if its in good shape, the price seems O-K. Be Careful!
