Everybody has a theory on the best plugs. D 21 is a fairly hot plug and should work in your 100. In the Champion world, the bigger the number the hotter the plug. Unleaded gas burns cooler than the old leaded gas and takes a hotter plug than was used then. There is a hotter Champion D 23, but these are for real oil burners. Some guys think AC C86 is the way to go. Lots of choices.
