The owners manual states that the system allows you three ways to deliver lift. The entire cultivator, a delay for the rear pump such as on a plow and lifting either side of a scuffler independent of each other. The others who responded are quite correct in that the liftall in its stock form is single acting, the weight of the attachment will feed the oil back into the liftall, I'm not sure which fitting is the delay but if you are only running one line to a ram it doesn't matter, it will if you are using 2 cylinders..Good luck
