Is the 340 the Farmall or the Utility version? I have had the latter version for about 25 years. It has performed excellently. Sale postings show them selling for twice what I gave for it. Converted mine to 12 volts. Use it for bush-hogging mainly. The parts are scarece, although I've found all I've need from CT or via the web.
