I assume the Australian Ochard Super 6 has the same carburetor as a Super M. In that case screw the main jet all the way in and back out four turns for a starting point. Adjust under load to as rich as you can get with no sign of black exhaust smoke. Adjust the idle after you have it running good. Remember screwing the idle mixture in makes for a RICHER mixture, as the screw is an air adjustment. From the symptoms, it sounds like crossed wires, bad timing, bad points, cracked distributor cap, or stuck valves, in that order.
