Moose.....I couldn't see spending all that money for a compressor either....so I bought one at a gas station auction and it's only 12 cfm's but over the years I added to the system....by I mean is that I ran a line to every buiding so I have air all over the place and went to the junk yard and bought air tanks from old semi's and put in every building hooked to the system.....in fact last year I bought a compressor only(no tank or motor) from a catulog(it's 20 cfm)and added to system and run it with an old silo unloader motor(from auction)......so over the years maybe I got $1000 in my system but at alittle at a time and the good thing is it's(air) where ever I want to set up to work on something...OH plus I used pvc pipe to ran air around to the building....!" pvc is rated at 400psi..and so far it been in for 5 years with no problems and the cost is almost nothing compared to regular pipe......Hope this gives you some help.....Good Luck.....
