At long last, I have a pretty well cleaned fuel tank on my Super M. The tractor had not been used for about 15 years and the tank was a mess of varnished fuel and water. I cleaned it as best that I could with a power washer which helped but sure was not a cure. I replaced the sediment bowl with some pieces of pipe arranged into what looks like a drip leg for natural gas on a furnace and added an inline fuel filter. Every time the rust flakes would clog it up, I would clean it out and after several tanks of clean fuel and repeated rust cleanings, it seems to be clear of the rust flakes. Now I can adjust the carburator and tune up the tractor since the fuel supply is now adequate. Just wanted to let the group know what worked for me. Sure is nice to have that tractor working as it has been in the family since 1963. Bob
