What you need to keep in mind is that if the engine has M&W pistons it is the same size as a 450. That is 281 cubic inches of displacement. There is no replacement for displacement. Any help with breathing and increasing of rpm on a Super M will yeild quite and increase in HP. What is the full load RPM your engine was running at? I have had a lot of pullers tell me that it isn't all that difficult to get 100 hp out of a Super M engine. I guess that is what makes them popular for pullers, and farmers.
