Get yourself to the plumbing dept. at the hardware store and get a pipe plug. That will have threads and a square piece to wrench on only you will use the square part to go into the plug and hook yer pipe wrench(big or small as you need) onto the threaded part. It's one of the cheapest tools you'll ever buy.
