You guys have to remember you are discussing tractors now close to 50 years old. I bought a Farmall 300 new in 1956. Had that tractor for 30 years. The wine will always be with you. It will be worse if the bands are not adjusted properly. My 300 gave excellent service and did a lot of pto work. Rebuilt the pto twice, once I felt was premature but tractor had been in water deep enough to enter the pto breather. I drained pto at the time and put in new oil. Two years later pto failed and rust was evident inside.
