I'm willing to back off part way. I haven't specificly looked for paint decisions on the Super C cultivators. I have gone through pretty closely looking for Cub implement information once in a while. They would occasionally have a color that was specific to a tractor model, but not very often. Those sorts of exceptions would usually be parts that were specific to a model, not common use parts like shanks. I also believe that what happened at the factory wasn't necessarily always what the paint decisions said. This was especially true of spares, which seemed to get whatever the paint booth was already set up for. My dad had on hand a whole bin full of new clamps. All were black except one was mixed in that was blue. I think I have that clamp on a Cub cultivator that is otherwise totally repainted red. The time of the red pigment shortage after WWII is one where it got real confusing for a while. The paint decisions from then call out a lot of blue as a substitute to be used during the shortage. But it wasn't always clear when/what/if colors got changed back. Most of that should have been straightened out before '53 but did show up on a lot of Cub, Super A and C implements.
