Here are a couple ideas: Maybe the injection pump was timed 180 degrees off. I did this on ours and it would run--not very good. It had no power, but it would run. How does it do when you power it up? Still no power? Is it getting plenty of fuel? Our fuel line clogs periodically and have to blow it out.
