Ive got 5 starters I have to rebuild from broken bendix syndrome!! 4 of them are typical 2 bolt, they have a long spring with 2 bolts that hold the 2 ends. Keep sheering off the bolts! I have a Super H that has the starter switch on the starter activated by the foot lever, I remember seeing it had a different style bendix. Did the 2 bolt starters on the Supers have different bendix on them? 2 of the starters are firing up stroker engines. 12 volt, 1000amp battery. ( I try to be nice on em I swear!) ( H farmalls) the other is a Super M, 12 volt conversion, same 1000amp battery, its suddenly sounds badly after waking it up from its winters nap, clashing sounds,,, ( the starter not anything else) The Super H has been acting up too, and its a small 525 12 volt battery,,, The 5th is will be a spare for when I have bendix syndrome attack this summer at the tracks. Is there a heavier duty bendix available? I break 2 a year and new brushes every season on the stroker starters. The Sm and SH are stock, needing attention, just looking to do this with the best parts on the Super H and the SM. My H engine is bad on starters,,, new starter rings on it, when I first built 10 years ago, just locks up in the gear, and I hear the armature still turning, Opps, there goes another!!! Snaps the bolts that holds that slinky like spring.

This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit
