Like mentioned below, be SURE to get some new bushings for both ends of the armature while you're in the parts store. They seem to wear out as fast as brushes on most starters and will sure make 'em not work right. Just drive the old ones out with a punch and drive the new ones in slipped over a bolt that'll just fit in 'em.
