john: I liked yours quite well myself. Always good sport to convince someone of an animals ability. I had a German Shepherd once, I expect he weighed close to 125#. He would grab racoons by back of neck and shake them until dead. I've found dogs generally just a bit shy on racoons as they can get bitten badly. We did laugh at him one day though, a fully loaded tractor trailer on air suspension was in my yard. The dog was right height, apparently had an itchy spot. He got under trailer frame, started scratching his back, and was shaking the whole rig. The owner of the rig declared, if that dog has that able set of legs, I don't think I'll be lurking around here after dark. He might not take too kindly to strangers, lurking in the dark. I know he didn't take kindly to racoons.
