Bolster bushings again

Hi All , Last night I took the front bolster apart on the M . I found two washers under the sector gear that obviously aren't supposed to be there and the old bearing was brinnelled pretty bad and had some rust pitting inside on the balls . Those washers made it easy to remove the pivot shaft though since the taper couldn't get tight . Lo and behold the old bushings pushed right out with no problem , so that is the problem I think . The bottom bushing I was able to install by hand and the top bushing I used a piece of pipe and tapped it in . That upper seal is a bear to get in there square but I got it in without damage I think . I put a cup of 80-90 in to soak the upper bushing over night and I haven't been out to see if it's leaked yet . The problem is that there is still just as much play in the lower bushing as there was before . Actually the old bushings didn't look bad . The objective here was to make it turn easier which I think I accomplished but how much play is normal for that lower bushing ? I thought I'd pump it full of grease now and let it mix with the cup of oil in there and I'll be good for a couple more years , now on to that danged transmission .....
