I bought my '47 B a couple of years ago and it came with what I think are the original teardrop headlights. Farmall Gray was correct about the arms being just a rod with one end smashed flat and a hole drilled in it. The rod inserts into a hole in the front of the tractor and a you tighten a setscrew to keep the rod from rotating. The light housing has a single bolt protruding downward that goes through the hole in the arm. On my tractor, one lens was missing and the other was broken, and both reflectors were bad, so I decided to install sealed beam bulbs. The sealed beam bulb is smaller than the housing ring, so I wrapped two layers of weatherstripping around the outer edge of each bulb and stuffed them into the housing. So far neither one has fallen out. If anyone knows of a better way to install sealed beams into the old housings, I would like to hear from them.
