Hello all, I've had my SA for just over a week now and I've had tme to check it out pretty good and of course I got a few questions. I'm gonna have my head rebuilt and I have found two different torque settings for the head bolts one manuel sez 65 ftlbs the other is 80. Which is right? I have a set of plows but I don't have a clue how to hook them up. I don't have any model numbers. The plows themselves are mirror opposites, I'm told that the idea is to plow with one and then at the other end of the field you pick that one up and drop the other. This rolls the soil the same way and you don't have back up as with three point hitch plows. Are there pictures or a manual somewhere for these? Is there a way to determine a model number for these plows? I have a shaft behind the seat that is mounted to the fenders. It has two lift arms on it and has a another shaft that runs from the left lift arm, past the driver to the left hyd cylinder. This setup does not appear in the operators manual. I found somthing in the parts manual called a quick hitch. This is kinda similar to what I have but it doesn't really match. I don't have all the leveling gear or the other stuff shown in the parts manual. Could this be part of an old three point hitch conversion? Or is this just something that doesn't show up in the manuals. Sorry to be so long winded and I hope I did'nt confuse anyone I'm planning to have some photos posted soon and this will help. Thanks in advance.
