Going to be tuff to get 450 power out of an M without running the RPM up. About the only things that I know that you can do without pulling the block is to put in a 4" kit with hy compression pistion, do some head work to get it flowing better, change to a bigger manifold and carb if needed, and turn up the revs. I am sure that some others like Les and TV will have better advice than mine. They have done this type of stuff just a few more times than I have.
