I'm not exactly sure what your emblem looks like, but if its embossed like "FARMALL" on my A, I wrestled with the same problem. I tried painting it with an artist's brush without much sucess. After getting some advise here, I sprayed the entire emblem and while still wet, wiped it across a "box o rags" paper towel soaked with thinner. It took a couple of tries. The first time I wiped all the paint out and started over. But with a little patience and trial and error, it turned out looking like a factory job. Good luck.
