That's what I have on my International 484 and it works great. The loader is a little bit big on my tractor, has a 6ft bucket. I will tell you that loaders do suck as far as digging but it will do it, although it's very bad for the tractor. However, using it to dig a basement is really sketchy and I think you would get the job done alot faster with a shovel and a wheelborrow. You can set the power of the loader by the adjustment screw under the loader control cover which I think would be a wise decision so that yor big tractor won't ruin it by trying to lift too much. That loader will easily lift a ton, although it depends on what you have for a bucket, same goes for digging. Don't put a light duty bucket on it and try to lift anything or dig with it because you'll bent the bucket all up. My neighbor has a 5240 (100hp 4wd) with that loader on it and uses it everyday with out problems. I think it's a really nice loader.
